Partnership Working

In addition to collaborations with academics and academic institutions, we have important partnerships with other organisations with an interest in the historic environment that go beyond casework advice . These include:

The local authorities in north-west Wales

•  We have Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to provide specialist archaeological advice across their directorates, in particular their planning, countryside service and tourism departments.

•  We routinely work with Conservation Officers in relation to listed buildings, record management and other conservation issues.

•  We work with Anglesey AONB team based in Anglesey Council, including membership of their Joint Advisory Council (JAC). We have worked on a number of projects delivered through funding from the Sustainability Development Fund (SDF) administered by the AONB, including Tai Cochion.

•  We work with Pen Llyn AONB team based in Gwynedd Council, including a small excavation and outreach programme at Porth Dinllaen funded through the Sustainability Development Fund (SDF).
