Click here to view upcoming Events and Activities. As well as inviting schools and volunteers to get involved with our work, GAT often arranges public events to coincide with projects. These include exhibitions, lectures, workshops, day schools, guided walks and open days. The Trust often ties events in with nationwide programs, benefiting from the extra publicity generated by, for example, Open Doors or the Festival of Archaeology. For information on upcoming events check our News and Events pages and follow us on social media.

Summer ShowsEach year the Trust also takes part in public events organised by other organisations. Summer events include the Anglesey Agricultural Show and Meirionnydd County Show and, when held in GAT's area, the National Eisteddfod. Displays and activities at these shows are themed, reflecting aspects of the local historic landscape. GAT also takes part in the Bryn Celli Ddu Project's annual public open day, organised by Cadw and the University of Central Lancashire. Each year GAT also participates in a variety of history fairs and careers fairs. If you spot us at an event do come and say hello!
Annual Public Walks ProgrammeEach year GAT organises a programme of archaeologically themed public guided walks. Some walks tie in to projects the Trust is working on, some are standalone. From day long hikes in the mountains to shorter tours of excavation sites, there's usually something for everyone and all ability levels. Our public walks are free but booking is essential - they're always fully booked so if you see a walk you like the look of, contact us to book place. We publicise our walks programmes on our News and Events page, mailing lists and social media pages. If you'd like to be kept up to date with news, events and volunteering activities, you can follow us on social media.
